American Border Collie Association (681)
We are a member-owned registry with over 9000 members (Life and Annual), and we provide a full range of services to members in good standing. Our activities are overseen by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
The ABCA exists to register, maintain and verify the pedigrees of Border Collies, to promote and foster in North America the breeding, training and distribution of reliable working Border Collies, and to promote stockdog trials and exhibitions.
United States Border Collie Club (322)
The United States Border Collie Club, Inc. (USBCC) is dedicated to preserving the Border Collie as a working stock dog, opposing the showing, judging, and breeding of Border Collies based upon their appearance, promoting the breeding only of sound and healthy animals free of genetic defects, and encouraging Border Collie owners to work with their dogs in the many canine sports at which Border Collies excel.
United States Border Collie Handler's Association (818)
The United States Border Collie Handler's Association, Inc. (USBCHA) is the sanctioning body for sheepdog trials throughout the United States and Canada. It was founded in 1979 and has grown into an organization of more than 500 members. Members who qualify at sanctioned Open trials during the year are eligible to compete in the USBCHA National Finals to determine the champion Open dog and handler for that year. The annual USBCHA Nursery Finals determines the champion Nursery (30 months or younger) dog and handler from among those members who have qualified in that year's sanctioned Nursery trials. The USBCHA held the first-ever U.S. National Cattledog Finals in 2001
